Expansion Filler

Due to BASF’s ability to expand up to 100 times and fill every gap in the building envelope, you can rest assured allergens and pollutants will not find their way in to your home for the future of the building.

No CFCs

BASF contains no CFCs. Chlorofluorocarbons were developed in the 1930s and are now the main cause of the ozone depletion. As an eco-friendly product, it’s vitally important that we don’t add to this.

No HCFCs Either

BASF contains no HCFCs. Although they cause less harm to the environment than CFCs, they still damage the ozone layer. We simply don’t use these in any BASF product.

Clean Emissions

BASF is completely water blown. This means the chemical expansion is caused by the carbon dioxide generated between the water and isocyanate material. BASF will not emit any harmful gases once cured.

What is BASF?

BASF is a Spray foam insulation system for internal walls, floors and roofs that provides a seamless airtight, insulation solution.

Damp Protection

BASF will allow water to drain through it rather than storing it. Once dried BASF maintains its original characteristics. Due to it‘s open cell structure water drains away under its own gravity, so you will not need to worry about rotting timbers, but will allow you to find a leak and repair it.

Prevent Air Leakage

BASF spray foam insulation acts like a wind breaker, stopping cold air and providing maximum thermal insulation. Fiberglass, while having a high insulation rating allows air to pass through contributing heavily to energy loss and increases energy consumption as a result. By air sealing your home you are keeping the heat in during winter and cold air in during the summer.

Filling the Gaps

BASF will expand up to 100 times its original size within the first 6 seconds of being applied. It fills all tiny gaps around electrical sockets and hard to reach areas. Other insulation methods cannot achieve the same level of insulation BASF can due to other insulation methods not being completely air tight.
